Jim Thompson’s House

Jim Thomson’s House. Unfortunately you’re not allowed to take photos inside, so I had to make do with the garden. Jim Thompson helped revitalise the Thai silk industry in the 1950s. He mysteriously disappeared in the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia in 1967.

They say you’re not supposed to wear gold and silver together. I say, break that rule.

Gold dress, Khaosan Rd. Silver necklace, market in Nairobi.

For some reason the lighting in this room seems to get less and less conducive to photo taking!! Kinda wondering if they did a sneaky lightbulb change when they came in to make my bed.  I’m off to Vietnam tomorrow, so fortunately this is a temporary problem.

And whilst we’re on the subject of gold clothing…

Window of Comme Des Garçonnes. I’d like the shorts please.
